Recently, Autel Energy – a visionary Chinese company specializing in e-mobility and charging infrastructure – took advantage of the venue’s versatile spaces. The German Logistics Association (BVL) also returned to the Estrel only a few days ago for its annual congress. Both events illustrate the importance of Europe’s largest hotel, congress, and entertainment complex as a hub for national and international encounters – and the immense potential the Estrel Berlin continues to unfold.
Autel Energy celebrates Global Launch at Estrel Berlin
Since February 2020, the company has been successfully listed on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. At the Estrel, it unveiled numerous groundbreaking innovations accompanied by an impressive product show and an expert conference with participants from across Europe. BVL Supply Chain CX 2025: The Summit of Logistics
From October 22 to 24, 2025, the Estrel Berlin became a stage for innovation, dialogue, and visionary ideas. With the BVL Supply Chain CX 2025, the leading logistics event once again transformed the venue into a hub for exchange between business, academia, and politics. In the spacious congress area, seven key future topics took center stage – from resilience and sustainability to geopolitical challenges and new business models. Across three stages, keynotes, panels, and workshops delivered inspiring impulses and practical insights. A highlight was the presentation of the German Logistics Award, which transitioned into a vibrant networking night. At the same time, the expo area showcased logistics in its full scope: over 150 exhibitors presented innovative solutions along the supply chain, complemented by engaging talk formats on four stages. The CX Connect Tables, business breakfast, Blue Angel Lounge, and the grand CX Party were particularly popular. Altogether, the BVL Supply Chain 2025 became not only a knowledge forum but also an experience that reflected the energy and diversity of the industry.

As Europe’s largest convention, hotel, and entertainment complex, the Estrel offers 30,000 m² of event space, 1,125 rooms and suites, restaurants and bars, and the outdoor venue “Waterfront” – everything needed for successful event formats. The ensemble also includes the Estrel Show Theatre. From November 27, the Christmas Special by Stars in Concert returns: an exclusive Christmas show featuring outstanding vocal doubles and dancers performing a rousing mix of number-one hits and beloved Christmas classics. For groups, the musical highlight can be booked exclusively. With its tribute to legendary stars of past and present, Stars in Concert is Germany’s most successful private stage production from Berlin.
New Dimensions for the Estrel World
And the success story continues: with the Estrel Tower (opening end of 2026), Berlin’s first skyscraper, and the new event hall planned for 2028/2029, the Estrel World is evolving into an even more multifaceted experience.

The Estrel Tower is currently rising in Berlin as an architectural statement that will shine far beyond the city limits. With its distinctive polygonal façade designed by Barkow Leibinger architects, the 176-meter-high tower will become Berlin’s new gateway – a symbol of renewal, modernity, and the city’s creative energy. It opens up new perspectives – literally – and reinforces Berlin’s ambition to combine innovation, sustainability, and quality of life.

Designer rooms with breathtaking views

The Tower will open its doors at the end of 2026, expanding the Estrel World with 522 designer rooms and serviced apartments, 9,300 m² of office space, and 3,800 m² of state-of-the-art event space. Whether exclusive dinners, board meetings, or corporate events – work, living, and experience will merge into one holistic concept. The light-flooded atrium with lobby, the Sky Meeting Rooms on the upper floors, and the Skybar with spectacular panoramic views create inspiring spaces for exchange and connection.
Since autumn 2025, Daniel Neubauer has joined as Director Estrel Tower. The experienced hotel manager is a specialist in hotel openings and operational management of large hospitality projects. After international positions in luxury hospitality, he now assumes overall responsibility for the tower’s setup and operations – from hotel and gastronomy to event management.

Sustainable down to the last detail: The Estrel Tower embodies responsible architecture. An energy-efficient façade, photovoltaic systems, intelligent energy management, and climate-neutral heating supplied by Berlin’s district heating network make it a flagship project of modern urban development. The project’s goal is to achieve LEED Platinum certification.

The New Event Hall: Flexibility Without Limits
Another milestone is emerging soon on the riverside site next to the Estrel Tower: a state-of-the-art multifunctional hall for up to 10,000 guests. This new addition will expand the Estrel World with further capacity for international congresses, industry events, product and brand launches, large-scale cultural performances, and gala events. Once again, sustainability and energy efficiency are at the core of the concept. Green spaces, photovoltaic installations, and eco-friendly construction define the design, along with flexible spatial architecture that allows for a wide range of event formats. With its planned opening in 2028/29, the ensemble of hotel, Estrel Convention Center (ECC), and Tower will reach a new dimension: The Estrel World will then offer over 50,000 m² of event space for up to 25,000 guests and 1,700 rooms and suites – a unique offering unmatched anywhere in Europe.
A Clear Vision for the Future
With these two new developments, the Estrel Berlin not only strengthens Berlin’s position as an internationally renowned MICE destination but also sends a strong signal to the entire industry: sustainable growth, outstanding hospitality, and a strong commitment to responsibility form the foundation of a successful event culture.
