Autel Energy, a visionary Chinese service provider in the field of e-mobility and charging infrastructure, recently made use of the versatile premises. The German Logistics Association (BVL) was also a guest again a few days ago as part of its congress. Both events demonstrate the importance of Europe's largest hotel, congress and entertainment complex for national and international meetings – and the potential that the Estrel Berlin will continue to develop in the future.

BVL Supply Chain CX 2025: The logistics summit
From 22 to 24 October 2025, the Estrel Berlin became a stage for innovation, dialogue, and visionary ideas. With BVL Supply Chain CX 2025, the leading logistics event once again took place at the hotel, transforming it into a hub for exchange between business, research, and politics.
In the spacious Congress Area, seven future-oriented key topics took centre stage—ranging from resilience and sustainability to geopolitical challenges and innovative business models. On three stages, keynotes, panels, and workshops sparked inspiration and offered practical perspectives. A special highlight was the presentation of the German Logistics Award, which seamlessly transitioned into a vibrant networking night.
Meanwhile, the Expo Area presented the entire breadth of logistics applications: over 150 exhibitors showcased innovative solutions along the supply chain, accompanied by engaging talk formats on four additional stages. With features such as the CX Connect Tables, Business Breakfast, Blue Angel Lounge, and, of course, the grand networking opportunities, BVL Supply Chain CX 2025 became not only a forum for knowledge, but also an immersive experience that impressively reflected the dynamism and diversity of the industry.
"Our second BVL Supply Chain CX was once again a complete success. We received almost exclusively great feedback from our partners and participants. The exceptionally good service provided by the Estrel staff was repeatedly emphasised. We can only confirm this: working with the Estrel team is always a pleasure, and we as organisers also enjoyed the professional and consistently friendly service. For us, the Estrel is the ideal venue for the BVL Supply Chain CX because we can use the premises very flexibly and implement our concept exactly as we want. We are already looking forward to next year!"

The Estrel world: the place to be for medicine, finance, technology and more
The Estrel Berlin's particular strength is evident in the top-class events it hosts, such as the global launch of Autel Energy and the BVL Supply Chain CX: its ability to combine knowledge, business and encounters in a unique way. Whether international congresses, award nights or creative business festivals – the Estrel creates the setting in which innovation, content and inspiration come to life.

As Europe's largest convention, hotel and entertainment centre, the Estrel offers 30,000 m² of event space, 1,125 rooms and suites, various restaurants and bars as well as the outdoor location "Waterfront" – everything you need to successfully host events. The Estrel Show Theatre is also part of the ensemble. From 27 November, the Christmas Special by Stars in Concert will be back here. In this unique Christmas show, outstanding vocal doubles and dancers perform a rousing mix of number 1 hits and the most beautiful Christmas songs. Groups can book this musical highlight exclusively. With its homage to the legendary world stars of yesterday and today, "Stars in Concert" is the most successful production by a private Berlin theatre in Germany.
And the success story continues: With the Estrel Tower (opening at the end of 2026), Berlin's first skyscraper, and the planned new event hall (opening in 2028/2029), the Estrel world is growing into an even more versatile overall experience.

New dimensions for the Estrel world
With the Estrel Tower, a striking architectural landmark is currently rising in Berlin, destined to shine far beyond the city limits. Featuring a distinctive polygonal façade designed by the renowned architectural firm Barkow Leibinger, the 176-meter-tall Estrel Tower is set to become the new gateway to the city, symbolizing Berlin’s spirit of optimism, modernity, and creative energy. The tower offers new perspectives—both literally and figuratively—and underscores Berlin’s ambition to combine innovation, sustainability, and quality of life.

With the tower nearing completion, Daniel Neubauer has been on board as Director of Estrel Tower since autumn 2025. The experienced hotel manager is considered a specialist in hotel openings and the operational management of large hospitality projects. After holding international positions in the luxury hotel industry, he is now taking on overall responsibility for the development and operational management of the new tower, from the hotel and restaurant business to event operations.

Sustainable down to the last detail, the Estrel Tower embodies responsible architecture. An energy-efficient façade, integrated photovoltaic systems, intelligent energy management, and climate-neutral heating from Berlin’s district heating network make it a flagship project for modern urban development. The ambition: to achieve LEED Platinum certification.

The new event hall: flexibly designed, limitless in its use
Another milestone is on the horizon along the waterfront next to the Estrel Tower: a state-of-the-art multifunctional hall with capacity for up to 10,000 guests. This new addition will further expand the Estrel world, offering additional space for international conferences, industry gatherings, product and brand launches, major cultural events, and gala evenings. Sustainability and energy efficiency are also central to this project, with features such as green spaces, integrated photovoltaic systems, and climate-friendly construction. The flexible room architecture allows for a diverse range of event formats.
With the planned opening in 2028/29, the ensemble of hotel, Estrel Convention Center (ECC), and tower will reach a new dimension. The Estrel world will then comprise over 50,000 m² of event space for up to 25,000 guests, along with 1,700 rooms and suites—a unique offering that is without equal in Europe.
Firmly focused on the future
With these two new buildings, Estrel Berlin is not only reinforcing the city’s standing as a leading international MICE destination, but also sending a clear signal to the entire industry: sustainable growth, outstanding hospitality, and the highest standards of sustainability are the foundations of a successful and responsible event culture.
